When you pay to unlock your compliance result and documents, PayPal processes your payment and shares a transaction confirmation and the email address associated with your PayPal account with us. We do not store your payment card or bank details — all payment processing is handled entirely by PayPal.
If you send a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, optional phone number, topic and message you type. If you tick the box to include your project details, we also receive the address, city, ETo and compliance result from your project. Nothing from the tool is sent unless you tick that box and send the message.
Project data you enter (address, plant selections, hydrozone areas) is stored locally in your browser on your own device, not on our servers. This data is used solely to let you resume and re-validate your project during a session.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Project data (address, hydrozones, plant selections, and calculations) is stored only in your browser's local storage on the device you used to build the project — we do not retain a copy on our servers. Clearing your browser data, using a different device, or using private/incognito mode will remove access to that saved project. We strongly recommend downloading your documents as soon as your project is complete and keeping your own copy.
MWELO.com does not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking services. The only cookies present may be those required by PayPal during the checkout process.
We use PayPal for payment processing. PayPal's privacy policy governs the information you provide during the checkout process. We receive only the transaction confirmation and your PayPal email address.
Our contact form is hosted by Netlify, which receives the message you submit and delivers it to our inbox. Netlify's privacy policy governs its handling of that data. We use form submissions only to reply to you.
All data transmission between your browser and PayPal or the contact form uses HTTPS. Because project data lives in your browser's local storage rather than on a remote server, it is only as secure as the device and browser profile you use to access the tool — we recommend not using shared or public computers to build a project you intend to keep.
Because project data is stored locally in your browser rather than on our servers, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, or by using the "Start a New Project" option in the tool. For any questions about your PayPal transaction, contact us at hello@mwelo.com with your PayPal transaction ID.
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at hello@mwelo.com.
